96-32Council File # � r33— Presented Refened To Green Sheet # z�O'� Z RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA a Committee Date 1 WIIEREAS, the City of Saint Paul would like to encourage its citizens to utilize and enjoy our Riverfront; and 2 WHEREAS, the citizens of Saint Paul should have every opportmuty to engage in recreafion through activities like 3 walking and biking; and 4 WfIEREAS, Shepazd Road between Randolph Avenue and dackson Street would provide a pleasant and scenic route 5 for such acfivifies; now therefore, be it 6 RESOLVED that the Saint Paul Department of Pubiic Works will investigate methods of closing off Shepard Road 7 between Randolph Avenue and Jackson Street (and other possible locations) on Saturdays and Sundays during the 8 months of May through September and report their conclusions back to the City Council by March 31, 1996.
