AGREEMENT
An agreement dated the day of , 1995, by and
between the City of St. Paul Police Department and the �ity of
Aastings. /
It is mutually agreed by and between the part' s to enter
into a joint exchange program as follows:
1. Whenever jointly agreed upon by the p ties, either
jurisdiction may furnish police officers to th other to
participate in a mutual exchange program.
2. Either municipality sending perso nel, supplies and
equipment retains the right to recall or w thhold at any time
that personnel, supplies and equipment a in doing so shall not
be considered to be breech of this agree ent.
4. When engaged in the exchange, the officers and members
of such forces of the sending municip lity shall be paid by the
sending municipality the same as if erforming their regular
duties, including worker's compens ion costs, within the sending
municipality.

any injuries, losses or amages to persons or property arising
out of the acts of any f the forces of the sending municipality,
except that if person or property not belonging to either
municipality are inj ed or suffer damages or losses as a result
of actions by the s ding municipality while specifically
carrying out a gen al assignment of the receiving municipality,
such losses shall e the sole and direct responsibility of the
receiving munici ality. The sending municipality will not be
responsible for any injuries, losses or damages arising out o£
the acts of an employees or agents of the receiving
municipality.
7. ch participating municipality is deemed hereby as
providing, and consenting to, the deputization of all officers
respondi to any calls hereunder, so that such officers are
properl empowered to enforce all laws, ordinances and
regula ons of the municipality in which their functions are
being erformed.
8. The sending agency personnel shall adhere to the
cies and procedures of the receiving agency. Failure to

termination of this agreement. The sending agen
shall continue to be subject to the established
supervision of its department. Conflict regardi
