WHEREAS, the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities has adopted its 1996
Policies and Legislative Proposals to be considered by the Mivnesota Legislature during the
1996 session; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul was an active participant in the development of
these Policies and Legislative Proposals and the City concurs generally on these policies and
proposals; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, the City Council of Saint Paul does hereby recommend for consideration
by the Minnesota Legislature the 1996 Policies and Legislative Proposals submitted by the
Association of Metropolitan Municipalities and does hereby request that these issues be
addressed by the Legislature during the 1996 session.

the Saint Paul Ciry Council.
