WI3EREAS, the League of Mit�nesota Ciries, wluch represents 811 of Miunesota's 856
citles as well as 10 urban towns and special districts, has led the coardination of inember
cities in the development of the 1996 City Policies for Legislative and Administrative Action
which identifies issues as priorities for action during the 1996 legislative session; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul was an active participant in this coordinated effort
and the City approves generally on these priorities; now therefore be it
RESOLVEA, the City Councii of Saint Paul does hereby recommend for consideration
by the Minnesota State Legislature 1996 City Policies for Legislative and AdministraUve
Action submitted by the League of Minnesota Cities' and does hereby request that these issues
be addressed by the Legislature during the 1996 session.
