WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department has been awarded a grant from the State of Minnesota,
Office of Drug Policy and �olence Prevention for the Saint Paul Police DepartmenYs A_C.O_P.
Program, for the calendar years 1996 and 1997, in the amount of $92,082, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department seeks a resolution authorizing William g. Finney, Chief of
Police, to enter into a cooperative agreement with the State of Minnesota, and
NOW TT�RF.FORE, BE TT RFSOLVED, that the City Council authorizes Chief William K. Finney,
to enter into the above mentioned grant agreement, on behalf of the City of Saint Paul_
