WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works would like to let bids for Ne conshuc0on of a storm sewer in the
Budington Pond area (Energy Pk Dr & Prior),
WHEREAS, there are certain economies and efficiencies realized by the City under an agreement between
the City, Burlington Northern Railroad and Minnesota Commerciai Railway,
WHEREAS, the two railroads have agreed to share in the cost ot this work in the amount of $54,000, leaving
the Ciry's share to be paid out of major sewer repair funds of $40,000, so
THEREFORE BE IT RESO WED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of ihe Mayor and advice of the Long

The Depazanent of Public Works would like to let bids for construction of a storm sewer at Energg Pk Drive and Prior, called Burlington
Pond. There aze economies to be realized by the Ciry under an agreement with the Burlington Northem and Mn Commercial Railways ro
do this work. This resolution seu up a budge[ to pay for the consuuction of this project and to accept funding From the railroads. The
Ciry's share of this work will be funded by the Sewer Service Fund - major sewer repairs.
ADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
The Depariment of Public Works will be able to award contract for the Burlington Pond.
