1 WHEREAS, the City Council of S nt Paul has adopted the Saint Paul Legislative
2 Code, Chapter 33.03(�. Buii ng codes and inspections; and

4 WHEREAS, Chapter 33.03(fl requi es that a Certificate of Compliance be obtained
.5 within six (6) months from th date of the original inspection; and

7 WHEREAS, the City Council may xtend the initial six (6) months by an additional
8 six (6) months if it can be sho that unforseen conditions have had a significant impact on
9 completion of the work and
10
11 WHEREAS, the owner of 187-189 cker Street East in the City of Saint Paul, has requested an
12 extension of six (6) months to obtain a Certificate of Compliance; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the work at 187-189 cker Street East is only 10% completed but the owner
15 suffered a back injury that pr ented him from working on the project for about four (4)
16 months; and ,

19 (6) months extension; therefo be it

21 RESOLVED, that the City Counci � of Saint Paul grant the property owner of
22 187-189 Acker Street East in e City of Saint Paul an extension of six (6) months

The two family dwelling at 187-189 ker Street East is being rehabilitated under provision
of the Nuisance Buildin� ordinance. e owner suffered a back injury on April 28, 1994
and it prevented him from meeting th I normal requirements for an extension under the
Vacant Hazardous Building Ordinance The work is only 10% completed, but it is our
recommendation that a six (6) month xtension of the completion time be granted the owner.
