1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul wil submit to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA)
2 a grant application numbered S-275 2-12 for approximately $11,970,000 in fiscal year 1995
3 State of Minnesota Water Pollution A atement grant funds, and

5 WHEREAS, these funds will be used to partially finance Saint Paul's 1995 sewer separation
6 program, and

8 WHEREAS, the MPCA requires that e applicant receive authorization from the Saint Paul
9 City Council to apply for said funds; d designate the proper City officials to sign the
10 application, future financial assistanc offer and all other documents associated with the
11 application and financial assistance ffer, now, therefore

13 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council o the City of Saint Paul authorize the Department of
14 Public Works to apply for the above f nancial assistance, and
15
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that th Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the
17 Director of Public Works or Associate Director, and the Manager or Assistant Manager of the
18 Department of Public Works Sewer ivision to be the designated representatives to sign
19 State Grant application numbered S- 75002-12 and the future financial assistance offer
20 associated with it, and all other relat documents.
