WHEREAS, Two Conoerts will be held at the City's Midway Stadium on August 16 and 17,
1995, and;
WHEREAS, The Midway Stadium does not have adequate areas to park all the vehicles
anticipated, and;
WAEREAS, The Minnesota State Fair (Minnesota State Agricultural Society) is willing
to lease to the City parking areas owned by the State Fair, and;
WHEREAS, in order to enter into such a lease the Minnesota State Fair requires that
the City indemnifies and holds them harmless, now;
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul agrees to indemnify and hold
harmless the Minnesota State Fair, its officers and employees from all suits brought
against the Minnesota State Fair for or on account of injuries or damages received or
sustained by any party, parties, or property by any reason of any act of negligence of
said City or on account of any act or omission of the City in its use and occupancy of the
assigned premises or use of any equipment of any kind belonging to the Minnesota State
Fair. The City of Saint Paul does not waive any rights, defenses or immunities provided
by Minn. Stat. §466.01 et seq.

Two concerts are being held at Midway Stadium on August 16 and 17, 1995. 7here is not
enough parking in the Midway Stadium for the anticipated vehicles. Therefore, we desire
to lease space at the fair grounds to alleviate the pro6lem. Shuttle bus service will
be provided from the fair grounds and a fee will be charged for parking at the site.
