1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Ci Council approved CF 94-744 on June 1, 1994 which entered
2 into a contract for election services t Ramsey County.
3 WHEREAS, the contract did t adequately address the employment situation for
4 Joyce Conway, Election Assistant.
5 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves and ratifies the
6 attached 1l�lemorandum of Agreement etween the City of Saint Paul and AFSCME, Local 2508 and
7 Joyce Conway.

MEMO DUM OF AGREEMENT

1. Notwithstanding other articles ' the Union contract, Ms. Joyce Conway, who is a full
time employee, who was hired on Jun 13, 1983, and who is at least sixty-four (64) years of
age, and who may retire after March 1, 994 and before December 31, 1994 shall be considered
to have met the eligibility requireme ts for early retiree insurance as stated in the Union
contract.
It is further agreed that Ms. Conway all not be precluded from any improvements in early
retiree insurance benefits that may be gotiated in the 1994 collective bargaining agreement.
In consideration of the mutual promis s and agreements contained in this Attachment 2, the
parties below have executed their signa re on this 5'�h day of � C , 1994.
