The variance with conditions is only for Construction work in said project from October 10, 1994 through 1, 1995. Noise source will be support equipment for underground work. a Resolution includes recommended variance conditions from LIEP Environmental Health. AOVANTAES IF APPROVED: Granting of the variance will allow the contractor performing in said project to work 24 hours per day. Majority of work will be done underground in tunnels. This will allow for completion of the project so that other sewer projects that are planned for the summer of 1995 can be completed. DISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED: _ Residents living near the project will be exposed to daytime and nighttime noise that is greater than current background noise levels.
