3 WHEREAS, the Employee Relafions Committee is preparing for the annual Employee Picnic
4 to be held the evening of September 7, 1995 at Harriet Island, and

6 WI�EREAS, it is traditional for local businesses and unions to contribute funds, goods or
7 services to be awarded to employees who attend the picnic and make their names available to
S be selected through random drawings in order to encourage employees to attend the picnic;
9 and
10
11 RFSOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Councii requests and accepts donations from area
12 mezchants, unions and others to have available for random drawings at the Employee Picnic
13 to be held on September 7, 1995 and that such dona6ons shall be deemed to be gifts to the
14 city of Saint Paul; and be it
15
16 FURTHER RFSOLVED, that such donations shall be deemed to be donations to the City
17 within the meaning of sec6on 41.03 of the Administrative Code, and in compliance with atl
18 the requirements of chapter 41 of the Administrative Code.
