I work daily with interpreting the Perso nel Rules, Policies and 14 Union contracts.
I have a detailed understanding of perso nel issues suchas; compensation, comparable worth,
reclassifications, Affirmative Action, AiA, etc. I have been an Alternate Commissioner
for the City.of St. Paul since 12- 27 -90. I have heard and deliberated on 17 cases,
which has provided me with a solid under tanding as to how the Commission functions under
the Charter and the Civil Service Rules. I am the representative for the Commission on
the cities Affirmative Action Advisory Council. Please refer to the attachments for

Evaluation and Compensation Progr_, Employee Recognition
of County -wide seniority lists, and similar programs; Program, maintenance
Unit in the absence of the supe isor; an o perform rela related dut es as
assigned.
Examples of Work Performed:
Audits all personnel transaction dog - is submitted by County t1' payroll clerks
for classified and all unclassifi =• employees against personnel records and
reviews for accuracy, completeness and conformance to proper format; ensures
that changes indicated on transact ons documents are in compliance with union
contract provisions, the Ramsey ••unty Personnel Act, personnel rules and
compensation guidelines.
