1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Departmen has received a grant from the Federal Government for an
2 additional ten police officers, and

4 WHEREAS, additional squad cars, equipmen and training for the new officers is needed, and

6 WHEREAS, The Mayor pursuant to Section 1 1.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that
7 there are available for appropriation funds in -xcess of those estimated in the 1994 budget; and

9 WHEREAS, The Mayor recommends that the ollowing addition be made to the 1994 budget:
