WHEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreatio has the responsibility for managing, developing and maintaining the
Ordway Memorial Japanese Garden located ne t to Como Park Conservatory; and,
WHEREAS, the Ordway Memorial Japanese G. den needs gutters, gates and its roof repaired; and,
WHEREAS, the Division of Parks and Recreatio has applied for and was awarded a $9,984.44 grant from the
Saint Paul Foundation to purchase the gutters nd gates and make the roof repairs needed in the Ordway Memorial
Japanese Garden; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10 07.02 of the City Charter does certify that there are available for
appropriation revenues in excess of those esti ated in the 1994 budget; and,
WHEREAS, Council File 277520, adopted Oct•'•er 1, 1981 did establish certain Special Fund Policies, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the followi g changes to the 1994 budget:
