94-1093 ORIGINAL Council File # 94 Ogg Green Sheet # ; RESOLUTION CITY OF INT PAUL, MINNESOTA gis Presented By / .J SA _ _ 1/ Referred To / Committee: Date WHEREAS, on August 12, 1993, the Co n ncil of the City of Saint Paul approved an interim zoning ordinance (Council File # 93- 1065), whi•I is effective for a period of one year, allowing currency exchanges as a permitted use in B -2 and i ess restricted zoning districts, provided they are no closer than one hundred (100) feet to a residen ial use; WHEREAS, Section three of the interi ordinance provides for the extension of the ordinance beyond August 12, 1994, by resolution in the event such extension is required to complete studies and adopt possible amendments to the z 1 ning code; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission as completed its studies and has recommended a zoning amendment concerning currency exchan_ - s to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is about t s deliberate the Commission's studies and recommended zoning amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL D, that the City Council extends the interim ordinance (Council File # 93 -1065) allowing curre exchanges in B -2 and less restricted zoning districts for a period of one (1) year, or until the com etion of the deliberations of the City Council and the enactment of new regulations if deemed ppropriate, whichever occurs first.
