94-1023 Council File # 94 ' / ORIGINAL Sheet 0/`7 Green RESOLUTION a � ., • F SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented B �� ' Referred To Committee: Date WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for the purpose of providing rehabilitation services to Ramsey County residents; and WHEREAS, the original Agreement, dated March 22, 1988, has been amended from time to time to provide continued participation, the last of which was dated July 1, 1993; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County to continue their respective relationships as set forth in the Joint Powers Agreement, as amended; now, therefore be it RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize the proper city officials to execute the ninth amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement between the City and Ramsey County. The Agreement provides for all city generated costs to be reimbursed by Ramsey County. In this Ninth Amendment, the Agreement will provide $200,000 for Single Family Rehabilitation, and $100,000 for Rental Rehabilitation. The source of the financing is Ramsey County Community Development Block Grant. ADVANTAGES IF APPROVED: The city'will continue to be able to provide rehabilitation services for greater Ramsey County. Please sign and return both copies to our office, along with a copy of your certificate of insurance, so that they can be fully executed. A completed copy will be returned to you for your records. Please remember that no action can be taken for use of these funds until this Amendment is fully executed and the County has given you confirmation that all federal requirements have been met. Any action undertaken prematurely may adversely affect our ability to make payments. We are also enclosing a copy of the Minneapolis /Saint Paul Metropolitan Area maximum income levels by household size that have just been published by the U. S.
