This Memorandum of Agreer�ent covers that reopener. The agreement calls for a wage freeze in 1994, and additions to the Health and Welfare, Pension, and a Sick leave fund which total $26,000 for the year. / °� S - \ \'�1 �,, 1994 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT This Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the Carpenters District Council of Southem Minnesota is entered into in full settlement of negotiation of the wage and benefit reopener described in Article 29.1.1 of the May, 1992 through April, 1995 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the parties. The parties agree to amend the current agreement as follows (see attached revised Appendices C and D): 1. Appendix C shall remain the same with the exception that the May 1, 1993 rates shall also become the Apri130, 1994 rates. This change reflects the agreement to a zero percent (0%) wage increase for 1994. 2. Appendix D shall be amended to reflect the following changes to fringe benefit rates: a) The City's contribution to the Health and Welfare Fund shall be increased from � 1.90 to $2.03 per hour. b) The City's contribution to the Pension Fund shall be in.creased from $2.75 to �3.00 per hour. c) The City shall contribute an additional taxable contribution of $.59 per hour to a union managed Sick Leave Fund. 3. Delete Article 29.1.1, which provides for the May 1, 1994 wage and benefit reopener. This Memorandum of Agreement shall be subject to the approval of the City Administration and the CSity Council. If the Union elects to have the contributions listed in Appendix D increased or decreased, the Employer may adjust the above applicable rates for participating employees in such a way that the total cost of the package (wage rate plus contribution) remains constant. -C2- . �l s � � �'� (� APPENDIX D Effective May 2, 1992, the Employer shall: (1) contribute to a Union designated Health and Welfare Fund $1.65 per hour for all hours worked by participating employees, as defined in Articles 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5, of this AGREEMENT. Effective May 1, 1993 this contribution shall become $1.90 per hour. Effective Apri130, 1994, tlus contribution shall be increased to $2.03 per hour. (2) contribute to a Pension �nd $2.25 per hour for all hours worked by participating employees as defined in Articles 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5, of this Agreement. Effective June 27, 1992, this contribution shall increased to $2.50 per hour. Effective May 1, 1993 this contribution shall increased to $2.75 per hour. Effective Apri130, 1994, this contribution shall be increased to $3.00 per hour. (3) contribute to a Vacation Fund 1.00 per hour from which payroll deduction has been made for all hours worked by participating employees, as defined in Articles 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5, of this Agreement. (4) contribute to a Union designated Dental �nd $.22 per hour for all hours worked by participating employees, as de�ned in Articles 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5, of this Agreement. � (5) contribute to an Apprenticeship 1Yaining Fund $.10 per hour for all hours worked by participating employees, as defined in Articles 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5, of this Agreement. Effective June 27, 1992, this contribution shall be increased to $.12 per hour. (6) Effective Apri130, 1994, the City shall make an additional taxable contribution of $.59 per hour to a union managed Sick Leave Fund.
