WHEREAS, ihe DepaRment of Public Works has let bids for consVUCtion of boffi paving and sewec separation ot the
Como/Arona area, and
WHEREAS, economies and efficiencies are gained by doing all this work untler one contract, and
WHEREAS, this work was originally adopted by Ciry Council Resolution 94-7843, known as Log #SU-66218,
Log #SU-66279 & Log #SU-66246, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has entered into an agreement with the Water Utiliry to
share in these costs, so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOIVED, 6y the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayos acid advice of the Long
Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that ihe Capital improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted and amentled
by tbis Council is hereby fuhher amended in following parucular:

The Deparunent of Public Works has let bids for construcaon of both paving and sewer separaaon of the Como/Arona azea. Economies
and efficiencies are gained by doing all this work under one contract. This work was originally adopted by the Ciry Council under separate
log numbers SU-66218, SU-66219 & SU-66246, [his resolution transfers the spending and financing for the paving portion of this project
to the Combined Sewer Separation program for awazd of consract and adds Water Utility financing.
ADVANTqGESIF APPpOVED:
The Department of Public Works will be able to awazd one comract for both the paving and the sewer work, thus taking advantage of the
economies and efficiencies gained by doing the work under one contract.
