95-621Council File # J� — �r� � Green Sheet # 3 3 O �S RESOLUTION SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented By Referred to Committee: Date _______�______°_°_°____°___°_________________________________________________°---------° 1 2 3 4 5 E 7 S 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 WHEREAS, The Saint Pau1 Division of Parks and Recreation holds a 3.2 beer and wine license for the City's Harriet/Raspberry Island Park; and WHEREAS, Section 19, Chapter 554, Minnesota Laws 1990 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1988, Chapter 654.021 allows the Division of Parks and Recreation, with City Council approval, to sell wine and 3.2 beer at events sponsored by the Division of Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, Chautauqua on the River, will operate all concessions £or the Chautauqua Entertainent Facility on the Riverfront, during the 1945 season; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Chautauqua on the River may use the Division of Parks and Recreation licenses to sell 3.2 beer and/or wine at the Chautauqua Entertainent Facility on the Riverfront under the following terms and conditions: Sales shall occur only between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. That prudent care will be taken to insure that all sales are made to persons age 21 and over. That prudent care will be taken to insure that no sales are made to individuals who are or appear to be intoxicated. That Chautauqua on the River shall, at all times, comply with all State of Minnesota and City of Saint Paul ordinances, laws, and statutes pertaining to the sale of wine and 3.2 beer. 1 2 3 4 5. That Chautauqua on the River shall provide liquor liability insurance in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00J for the dates that the Chautautqua Entertainment Facility operates.
