1 WHEREAS, The alley in the block bounded by St. Clair Avenue, Lombard Avenue,
2 Milton Street and Benhill Road is classified as an ungraded alley; and

4 WHEREAS, It is used for access to properties on both St. Clair and Lombard,
5 including garbage pick up; and

7 WI�REAS, The residents at 980 and 984 St. C1air Avenue desire to place gravel in
8 a portion of the alley abutting 956, 962, 966, 972, 976, 980 and 984 St. Clair, and
9 955, 959, 969, 975, 981, 985 and 989 Lombard Avenue at their own cost and
10 expense; and

12 WHEREAS, They have obtained the written approval of the majority of abutting
13 residents; and

].5 WHEREAS, The Public Works Departrnent recommends that the Saint Paul City
16 Council grant approval for said work in accordance with Chapter 123 of the
17 Legislative Code; now, therefore, be it
18
13 RESOLUED, The Saint Paul City Council hereby approves said work and directs the
20 Public Works Department to issue a perxnit therefor.
