What, When, Where, Why): Nutrition Assistants assigned as WIC Clinic Coordinators performing additional duties and Public Health Management has requested a procedure to properly compensate those so assigned. This Memorandum of Agreement shall apply only to employees worldng in the title of Nutrition Assistant I and assigned the duties of a WIC clinic coordinator. Nutrition Assistant I's assigned as clinic coordinators to a small clinic shall receive $.50 per hour dver and above their normal base rate. Nutrition Assistant I's assigned as clinic coordinators to a medium size clinic shali receive $.65 per hour over and above their normal base rate. Nutrition Assistant I's assigned as clinic coordinators to a lazge clinic shall receive $.80 per hour over and above their normal base rate. Planned paid leaves for 80 hours or less shail be eligible for the premium pay. However planned paid leaves in excess of 8� hours shall not be eligibie for premium pay for any part of such paid leave. Premium pay shall not be paid for hours in excess of 80 for any unplanned paid leave. For the purpose of this Memorandum of Agreemenf the size category of a clinic shall be detemuned by the number of clinic clients as shown below. Small Clinic---------------400 thru 1199 clients per month Medium Clinic--------------1200 thru 2399 clients per month Large Clinic--------------2400 clients or more per month Clinic Coordinators assigned to a new clinic which has less than 400 clients per month shall receive the premium pay for small clinics for the.first 12 months the clinic is in operation. If after 12 months of operation the clinic continues to have less than 400 clients per month the premium pay shall be discontinued and no premium pay shall be paid to the clinic coordinator of such clinic. However, Management agrees to meet with the Union in the event the premium pay is to be discontinued as per this agreement. However if Management does not agree that there are valid reasons for the premium pay to continue the premium pay shall be terminated.
