WFIEREAS, Minu. Stat. § 471.705 Subd. lA provides that a governing body
of a public employer may by majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a
closed meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Saint Paul to meet
and discuss various labor negoriation issues for the present term of negotiation;
now therefore
BE IT RE50LVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby agrees
to hold a closed meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations pursuant to
the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 471.705 Subd. lA, said meeting to be held on
May 31, 1995, at �. c1L� �/p.m. in the Northwest Conference Room,
3rd Floor, City Hall; and
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings of the closed meeting
will be taped and such tape shall be preserved in accordance with Minn. Stat. §
471.705 Subd. lA.
