At approacimately 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 1994, a St. Paul squad car was
eastbound on Maryland Avenue and had started to make a lefthand turn to travel north on
Park Street when it struck a vehicle owned by Ms. Denise M. WhisUer that was westbound
on Maryland Avenue. Ms. Whistler was in the right of two westbound lanes on Maryland

Ms. Whisfler was continuing westbound on Mazyland Avenue through the intersection with
Pazk Street when she was struck by the squad car. Ms. Whistler's vehicle was totalled in the
amount of $5952.50.
