1 WHEREAS, the Day By Day Cafe, located at 477 West Seventh 5treet, has been
2 in operation for twenty (20) years; and
3 WHEREAS, Greg Ekbom, the owner and operator of the Day By Day Cafe, has
4 been an outstanding business person who has helped to generate confidence
5 in the West Seventh business district; and
6 WHEREAS, the Day By Day'Cafe continues to draw customers from throughout
7 the Twin Cities, improving the economic climate of the City of Saint Paul;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, March 13, 1995 represented the twentieth anniversary of the
10 opening of the Day by Day Cafe;
liTHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council officially
12congi•atulates Greg Ekbom and the staff of the Day By Day Cafe on their
13twentieth anniversary and wishes them continued success in the next twenty
14(20) years.
