RESOLUTION

1 WHEREAS, Listening House has been an institution serving the disadvantaged and homeless for
2 tweive (12) years; and
3. WHEREAS, Listening House provides one-on-one services to those in need in the downtown
4 community; and
5 WHEREAS, Listening House services are necessary in the downtown neighborhood and Listening
6 House mission is supported by District 17 (Downtown Communily Development Council [DCDC]);
7 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council supports Listening House
8 continuing to be locatead in downtown and thanks them for the services they provide.— and that the
Department of Planning and Economic Development is directed to work with Listening House to
a new location in the downtown area and other resources for their relocation.
