WHEREAS, The Planning Division is completing that study, which will be
presented shortly to the Planning Commission and then to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Division has requested that the Council extend the
interim ordinance for an additional 6 months, or until the study has been completed and
the Council has enacted the zoning amendments; and
WHEREAS, The interim ordinance was originally enacted by Ordinance Number
93-279, and was extended for an additional year by Resolution Council File #94-444;
now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Council does hereby extend the interim ordinance
definition of "Adult Bookstore" so as to remain in effect for an additional period of six
(6) months from May 2, 1995, or until the completion of the study and enactment of the
zoning amendment, whichever occurs first.
