WHEREAS: The Grand Avenue Business Association, Sponsor of Grand Old Day 1995, has
submitted a request to waive the 608 consent requirement for a block
partyfspecial event permit required by Chapter 366 of the Legislative Code,
and
WHEREAS: the Grand Avenue Business Association has argued that it would not be
practicable to obtain neighborhood consent for Grand Old Day, 1995,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED: that the Saint Paul City Council hereby waives the 608 consent requirement
foz a block party/special event permit for Gzand Old Day 1995 to be held June
4, 1995 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
