1 WHEREAS, the Council Research Report "Cable Television Access Services: Lower Cost Alternarives" has
2 identified the merger of Council Video and Cable Office Video as a lower cost alternative £or the delivery of
3 govemment television access services in Saint Paul; and
4 WHEREAS, the City Council and Mayor aze united in their commitment to provide Saint Paul taspayers with
5 efficient and meaningfiil services; now, therefore, be it
6 RESOLVED, that the Council Reseazch Director is to work with the Mayor or his designee to reach an agreement
7 to merge these two units in a manner which will result in cost reductions while assuring each branch of City
8 government will continue to receive quality video production services; and be it further
9 RESOLVED, that the council Research Director is, by April 21, 1995, to present to the City Council a proposed
10 merger agreement between Council and Administration Cable services.
