Current agreement contains a wage and insuxance reopener fox 1995. City has two permanent
employees in this Union, and several temporaries work for the Civic Center under this
Agreement. The 2� wage increase effective Eor 1995 amounts to $1404.32 for the two City
employees. The active employee insurance amounts to an increase of $334.80 in 1995.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This Memorandum of Agreement is entered inxo by and between the Ciry of Saint Paul
and the Intemational Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local Number 20. The
purpose of this Memorandum is to amend the 1993-1996 Colleckive Bargaining
agreement (dated February 2, 1994) between the parties. The articles listed below shall
replace the corresponding articles in the above referenced Collecrive Bargaining
agreement, and the two documents shall together comprise the complete agreement
between the parties regarding terms and conditions of employment.
1. Article 8.2 shall be amended by adding the section 8.2.2 as specified:
8.2.2 Effective for the January, 1995 insurance coverage, for each eligible
employee covered by this agreement who is employed full-time and
who selects employee insurance coverage, the EMPLOYER agrees
to contribute $172.96 per month toward the cost of such coverage,
or the cost of such coverage, whichever is less. For each full-time
employee who selects family coverage, the EMPLOYER will
contribute $295.78 per month toward the cost of such coverage, or
the cost of the coverage, whichever is less.
2. Article S.5 shall be amended to read as follows:
8.5 For full-time eligible employees who meet all the conditions in
ARTTCLE 8.6 below and who retire, the EMPLOYER will provide,
for the life of the retiree, the full premium cost of the least
expensive single health insurance coverage provided by the
EMPLOYER at the time the employee retires. The C`ity's
contribution shall remain constant, except that such contribution
level shall be refigured at the full cost of the least e�ensive
premium offered by the Employer at the time the retiree reaches
age 65, if such date is after the date of retirement.
For employees who retire and have not completed at least twenty-
five (25) years of service with the City at the time of their
retirement, the BMPLOYER will discontinue providing any health
insurance contributions upon their retirement.
3. Amend article 18 by deleting Section 18.1.1
4. Replace Appendix A with the attached AppendiY A which establishes a 2%
across-the-board wage increase for all titles in the bargaining unit.

These rates for the Stage Technician and Assistant Stage Technician represent a two
percent (2.0%) increase over the previous rates for these titles.
The wage rate applicable to the classificadons of Stage Technician and Assistant Stage
Technician shall be retroactive to December 24, 1994. Retroactive pay adjustments shall
apply only to employees who were City employees on the date of the signing of this
agreement.
This Memorandum represents a tentadve agreement between the parties and is subject
to the approval of the City Administration and the City Council, as weil as the
rati�ication of the Union.
IN WI'I'NESS to this agreement, the parties have affixed their signatures this 14th day of
March, 1995.
