WHEREAS, A contract for water service between the City of West St. Paul and the Board of
Water Commissioners dated the 12th day of December 1916, provides for a retail agreement to
supply water to West St. Paul; and
WHEREAS, Terms and condi6ons of a new contract for water service between the City of West
St. Paul and the Board have been negotiated to the satisfaction of the two parties and West St.
Paul has submitted a signed contract for final approval by the City of Saint Paul and the Boazd;
and
WHEREAS, Officers o£ the Boazd of Water Commissioners have signed said contract for water
service as directed by Resolution I3o. 4350; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the contract for water service between the City of West St. Paul and the
Boazd of Water Commissioners is hereby approved and that the proper officers of the City of
Saint Paul are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, A contract for water service between the Ciry of West St. Paul and the Board
dated the 12th day of December, 1916 provided for furnishing water to the citizens of West St.
Paul, maintenance of the water system, metering, indemnity of the parties, rates for water, etc.;
and
WHEREAS, A revised contract has been nego6ated that replaces the Contract of December 12,
1916 and more completely describes the responsibilities of the Board and the City of West St.
Paul regarding water service, rates, system maintenance, system replacement and expansion, and
optional services provided by the Board; and
WHEREAS, T'he terms and conditions of the new contract between the City of West St. Paul
and the Board have been negotiated to the satisfacrion of the two parties and West St. Paul has
signed the contract that is now submitted for final approval by ihe Board; now, therefore, be it
RFSOLVED, That the contract for water service between the City of West St. Paul and the
Boazd of Water Commissioners is hereby approved and that the proper officers of the Board are
hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the Boazd; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Hononbie Council of the City of Saint Paul is requested to
approve a resolution authorizing proper city officials to execute said contract on behalf of the
City of Saint Paul.
