RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Mivu. Stat. § 471.705 Subd. lA provides that a goveming body
of a public employer may by majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a
closed meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Saint Paul to meet
and discuss various labor negotiation issues for the present term of negotiation;
now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby agrees
to hold a closed meeting to consider strategy for labar negotiations pursuant to
the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 471.705 Subd. lA, said meeting to be held on
March 8, 1995, at 130 p.m. in the Northwest Conference Room, 3rd Floor,
City Ha11; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEA, that the proceedings of the closed meeting
will be taped and such tape shall be preserved in accordance with Minn. Stat. §
471.705 Subd. lA.
