1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council Resolution #94-1579 directed Cauncil Research to
2 conduct a study of cable television access services to examine the level, quality and cost of public,
3 educational and government (PEG) access services in Saint Paul and to provide alternative lower cost
4 models for providing PEG access services in Saint Paul, and
5 WHEREAS, in response to this directive, the City Council Investigauon and Research Center has
6 prepared a report titled "Cable Television Access 5ervices: Lower Cost Altematives" now, therefore,
7 be it
8 RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the "Cable Television Access Services: L.ower Cost
9 Alternatives" Report.

RESOLVED, that upon execurion and delivery of a release in full to the City of Saint
Paul, the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 0907�-0511 to Kaxhleen A. Zieman the sum of $3,422.34 in full settlement
of her claim for severance pay.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has applied £or a State of Minnesota Outdoor �
Recreation Grant for construction of the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center
children's play area, and
WHEREAS, said application was submitted as authorized under Council File
94-1018, adopted July 20, 1994, and
WHEREAS, the State of Mi.nnesota, Department of Natural Resources has notified
the City that it will receive a grant for said play area construction,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOVLED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon
recommendation of the Mayor and the positive advice of the Long Range Capi�al .
Improvement Budget Committee, that upon receipt of said grant and executio� of �
the required grant agreement, the 1994 Capital Improvement Budget, as � o �
heretofore adopted and amended by the Council, is hereby further amended as a �
