WFIEREAS, the City Council adopted Council File No. 10-229, dated March 3, 2010, said council file
being the Final Order approving construction of the 2�1� Residential Street Vitality Project, specifically referencing
the portion identified as the Front-Victoria area (File #19080); and
WHEREAS, more than 70% of the property owners containing slreet frontage on Kilbum Street between
Orchard Avenue and the railroad right-of-way have signed a peTition requesting to opt out of the project; and
WHEREAS, the District 6 Planning Council supports the opt out decision made by the residents in said
area; and
That a public heazing be had on said petition on the 7th day of July 2010, at 530�.m., in Council Chambexs
of fhe City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Pau1; so
As to consider deletion of Kilburn Street, from Orchazd Street to the railroad right-of-way, from the 2010
Residential 5treet Vitality Project and
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating
the time and place of heazing, the nature of the petition.

District 6 Planning Council's Land Use Task Force supports the decision made by the residents on Kilburn
Street between Orchard and the railroad tracks to opt out of the Front-Victoria Paving project.
As indicated on the petition the residents are aware that the block in question will not be eligible for
street construction until the end of the Residential Street Vitality Paving Program which is scheduled for
the year 2018.
District 6 will keep the petition and this letter on file and will refer any other neighbors to the residents
who signed the public petition to opt out with any questions or concerns.
