Initiating Problem, Issues, Opportunity (Who, What, When, Where, Why):
The problem "defective bus pad" was caused by multiple problems, poor subgrade materials, freeze/thaw cycles, service life limits,
chemical additives, exlreme temperature variations, etc. Left uncoirected, the bus pad condiYion would worsen to a state where it
would be unusable and subject to increased pedestrian injuries from falis and possible lirigations.
Advantages If Approved:
The communiry will benefit from this project because it will provide safe defect free bus pad for its citizens.
DisadvanWges if Approved:
Historically, the sidewalk reconstruction has created negative feedback because of construc[ion and assessments.
Disadvantages if NotApproved:
This oprion would allow the infrasUucture to deteriorate, which in turn, will generate more personal injury suits,
