That a public hearing be had on said improvement on January, 2009, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul. the 21s day of of the City Hall 3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. Also, condenming and taldng an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or land remainder thereof, occasioned by excavarion thereof or canstruction of slopes in the grading and paving of said alley. INITIATING ACTION Tlus improvement was iniriated by a peririon signed by 75% of the abutting property owners. EXISTING CONDITIONS The aliey is platted 20 feet wide. The alley is unimproved. The surface of the alley is gravel. PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT Conshuct storm sewer and grade the alley to a width of 16 feet and place hot mix bihuninous pavement.
