In the Matter of improving JLTNO AVENUE by construcfing new bituminous surface streets with concrete
curb and gutter, concrete driveway aprons and outwalks, boulevazds landscaped with sod and trees, and a
new lantern style lighting system and doing all other necessary work to complete said project bounded by
Lexington Pazkway on the west and Interstate 35E on the west.
Also, lead water services in the right-of-way will be replaced at the request of the property owners.
Also, the construction of and/or repair of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and/or water service connections
will be made at the request of the properly owners. (File No. 19065C)
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above
improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approve with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost
thereof is $58,700.00, financed by Street Improvement Bonds, assessments and other funds.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 3rd day of December, 2008, at 5:30 o'clock
p"m•, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public heazing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,
stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

This project is being completed in conjunction with the 2008 Residential Street Vitality Progam (RSVP) and a private commercial
development underway on the property adjoining Juno Avenue on the north.
Advantages IfApproved:
General improvement of the right-of-way will enhance and add quality to the neighborhood. Also, reconstruction of Juno is a
requirement of the approved site plan for the adjoining private development. .
DisadvaMages tf Apprwed:
Normal problems associated with construction, such as noise, dust and genenl dismption will occur.
Disadvantages If Not Approved:
The pavement structure will confinue to deteriorate. The adjoining private development will not be in compliance with the city-
approved site plan.
