In the Matter of the construction of a sanitary sewer lift station (James
Avenue Lift Station), associated gravity main, forcemain and sanitary service
stubs located generally along James Avenue from Duke Street to Randolph
Avenue/Old Shepard Road.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the
Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby
resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approve with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $756,000.00, financed by
the Port Authority and assessments.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 25th dav of
Auaust, 2004, at 5:30 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the
manner provided by the CharteY, stating the time and place of hearing, the
nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

Port Authority wants to develop property along Shepazd Road to be lmown as the River Bend Business Center and needs the sanitary
sewer lift station for the development. Across the road from the Center, flte owner of Island Starion wants to develop that property.
The Port Authority would pay cash for their share and Island Station would be assessed.
