In the Matter of Improvements for the Downtown Streetscape Project, Phase 2A,
consisting of the total reconstruction of the streets; new curb, guter, catch basins,
clay pavers, new street lighting and streetscape for the following streets:
FOURTH STREET WEST - from Market Street to St. Peter Street
MARKET STREET - from Kellogg Boulevard to Fourth Street West
WASHINGTON STREET - from Kellogg Boulevard to Fourth Street West
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, herehy resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $840,600 financed by Municipal State Aid
$600,600, and Assessments $240,000_
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lOth dav of Julv, 2002,
at 5:30 O'clock P,M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House
Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated_

tunnel from River Centre to the Landmark Center.
