The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: 1 � � That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $154,500 financed by 2002 Capital Improvement Bonds $112,740 and Assessments $41,760. That a pnblic hearing be had on said improvement on the 24th dav of April, 2002, at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul_ That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. The majority of owners of these areas wanted to opt-out of he improvement project. Public Works has agreed to leave these areas out of the current project, although he will have to be done at some later date. The re uest to im rove these areas now needs to be denied. ADVANTAGES IF APPROVED: treet im rovements on these two areas would be constructed now instead of at a later date. DISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED: o improve these two blocks now would be contrary to the wishes of the majority of the property owners who ould be affected b the im rovements.
