AE2001-02 VOTING WARD _6,7 Ia the Matter of replacing the Earl Street Bridge over East Seventh Street, the Union Paci£ic Railroad and Ramsey County Regional Rail property by removing the existing bridge(No. 90412) and constructing a new bridge (No. 62545) and doing all other work necessary to complete said improvements, including acquiring the necessary right-of- way and easements (see attached map). The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: E 2 3 That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $6,044,000.00 financed by project funds. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 27"' of Februarv, 2002,at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. Vertical geometry and sight distances are well below current standards. varrrac�.s � nrraovEV: A new bridge would increase the load limit and bring vertical geometry and sight distances up to current standards. ISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED: .
