the right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or

having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23th dav of Mav. 2001, at 530 o'clock p.m., in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public heazing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the
ume and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

An improvement pmject has been proposed for the alley in Block 14, Sumaut Park Addition.
Should it be approved, it will be necessary to acquire easements for slopes, cuts and fills on the
areas abutting the alley to allow for a smooth transition between the existing property elevations
and the elevation of the newl paved surface and for the installation of a storm sewer in the alle

Draiaage in the a11ey will be improved.

Normal problems associated with construction will occur such as noise, dust, and general
