In the Matter of condemning and taking permanent easements in the land necessary for
slopes, cuts and £i11s, including the right of removal of lateral support from
subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction
of slopes in the grading and paving of the alley in BLOCK 3, GILBERT'S GREENVJAY
COURT, (Hamline, Ford Parkway, Syndicate and Hillcrest) as shown on the map on file
in the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works, 9"' Floor, City Hall Annex.
The Council of the City of Saint Pau1 having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $0.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on
2000, at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers
House Building in the City of Saint Paul.

An improvement project has been proposed for the alley in Block 3, GilberYs Greenway Court.
Should this project be approved, it will be necessary to acquire easements for slopes, cuts and
fills on the area abutting the alley to allow for a smooth transition between the e�sting property
elevations and the elevation of the newly aved surface.
DVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
Drainage in the alley will be improved.
ISADVANTAGES IF APPROVF.D:
Normal problems associated with construction will occur such as noise, dust, and general
disruption. Also, assessments to cover the cost of the improvement would be levied against the
benefitted ro erties, ayable over a maximum of 20 ears.,
ISADVANTAGES IF NOT APPROVED:
