In the Matter of improving PILLSBURY STREET from Raymond Avenue to St. Anthony
Avenue, as part of the EUSTIS/DESI�OYER AREA PAVING AND LIGHTING PROJECT. Said
improvement to include grading, bituminous paving, concrete curbs and gutters,
concrete driveway aprons and outwalks, and all other work necessary to complete said
improvements. -
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is 512,140.00 £inanced by Capital Improvement
Bonds $4,802.56 and Assessments $7,337.44.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 7th dav of Abril, 1999,
at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House
Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

Residents on Pillsbury Street, between Raymond and S� Anthony, requested paving improvements to be
done on this street as part of the EusGs/Desnoyer Paving and Lighdng Projec� Owners of six of the eight
affected parcels have signed the petition requesting this work and have also signed Waivers of
Notification of Assessment. The work was completed as a part of the Eustis/Desnoyer p�oject, and needs
approval to be added to the official assessment listings.
VANTAGFS IF APPROVEDz
Street would have an improved driving surface and better water drainage from snow melting and rain.
LSADVANfAGES IF APPROVED: .
A portion of the cost of the improvements wonld be assessed against the benefitted properties, remaining
