In the Matter of condemning and taking of property rights as required for the Phalen
Village Public Improvements Project east of Johnson Parkway and south of Maryland
Avenue, such property rights described as follows:
fee title to vacant land described as that part of Lots 21, 22 and 23 lying
northwesterly of the northwest right-of-way line of Prosperity Avenue, as
established by Council File No. 180711, adopted by the Council on December 11,
1956, and all of Lot 20, Block 3, Kiefer Park;
temporary construction easements, to expire on December 31, 1999, on over and
across the westerly 20 feet of Lots 14 and 15, Block 1, Lots 14 and 15, Block
2 and Lot 14, Block 3, ICiefer Park and vacated streets and alleys accruing
thereto; and
permanent slope easements as shown on map number PV1000, on file in the City
of Saint Paul Real Estate Division, 140 City Hall.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $25,00� financed by Municipal State Aid
Funds.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 29th day of Apri1,1998,
at 5:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House
Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
