upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is assessed at the rate in effect at the time
of installation.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on tlze lOth day of December,
1997,at 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court
House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

This project is being completed under the Residential Street Paving Program. This is one of five RSP projects selected by
the Departmeni of Public Works, approved by the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, and the City
Caunci! (Council Resolution 97-216).

Anewly rebuilt roadway, with new curb and gutter, wili restore the drivability ot this street and continue our efforts to
the street system in Saint Paul. The new street lighting will also improve safety in the area.
DISADVAN7AGES IF
Normal probfems associated wfth construction, such as noise, dust and general disruption will occur.
