upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and
that the estimated cost thereof is $2,443,848 financed by Capital Improvement
Bonds $1,810,816 and Assessments $633,032.
That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lOth day of December,
1997,at 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court
House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner
provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of
the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

This project is being completed under the Residential Street Paving Program. This is one of tive RSP projects selected by
the Department of Public Works, approved by the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, and the City
Council (Council Resolution 97-216).
ADVANTAGES IF APPFOVED:
Anewly rebuiit roadway, with new curb and gutter, will restore the drivabiiity of this street and continue our efforts to
the street system in Saint Paul. The new street lighting wiii also improve safety in the area.
