The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the
Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby
resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is per connection
assessed at the actual cost in effect at the time of installation.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 13th
day of_March, 1996, at 3:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of
Saint Paul.

This project was inRiated by a West Side cftizen group funded by the 1996-1997 Capital Improvement Budget Process.
A newiy rebuift roadway, wfth new curb and gutter, wili restore the drivability ot this street and continue our efforts to improve
the street system in Saint Paul. This will compiete the reconstruction of Humboidt Ave. north of George St. The new street
lighting wiil aiso improve safety in the area.
Normal problems associated with construction, such as noise, dust, and general disruption wili occur.
The pavement structure will continue to delerioraie, maintenance costs wifi rise, and ihe fevel of service provided by this
street wili drop.
