Both sides Selby Avenue from Arundel Street to Virginia Street;
East side Arundel Street from Selby Avenue to 172.5 feet south and Soth sides
Western Avenue from 120 feet souCh of Selby Avenue to Dayton Avenue for the
months of January thru December, 1996.
The Gouncil of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the
Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby
resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $1,166.
financed by assessments only.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the llth
day of _October, 1995 , at 3:30 o`clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of

arious neighborhood district councils, business associations, property owners and staff, the Council
approved both the construction of these systems and their operation by the City on an assessment basis. It
is required that a pubiic hearing be held each year for both the estimated operating costs and then the
actual operating costs. The first above-standard lighting system began with the Lowertown system in 1983.
