Zn the Hatter of The construction and/or repair of sanitary sewer, storm
sewer and/or water service connections, if requested by the property owner,
in conjunction with the Hoyt Avenue Street Paving and Lighting Project
between Victoria Street and Avon SCreet.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of
the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report,
hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no
alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is per
connection assessed at the cost in effect at the time of
installation.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 19th
day of July, 1995 , at 3:30 o'clock P.M,, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of
Saint Paul.

INRIATING PROBLEM, ISSUE, OPPORNNffY (WHO, WMAT. WHEN, NMERE. WHY):
Hoyt Avenue between Hamline and Grotto is a bus route. Hoyt Avenue between Hamline and �ctoria will be reconstructed in
1995 with MSA Funds. It is proposed to add Hoyt Avenue between Victoria and Grotto to the MSA System. Hoyt between
Avon and Grotto is afready paved. Hoyt between Victoria and Avon is an oiled street which is in poor condition.
it is proposed to pave Hoyt between Victoria and Avon to complete the paving of the bus route.
ADVANTAGES IF FPPROVED:
A newly rebuift roadway, with new curb and gutter, wili restore the drivability of this street and continue our eflorts to improve
the street system in Sairrt Paui. The new street lighting wiii also improve safety in the area.
